What's your standard build time?

Five working days for the starter package. Intake on Monday, launch on Friday. For custom work (e-commerce, multilingual, CRM integrations) 1–3 weeks, always agreed in advance.

How do you handle scope and price?

Fixed packages, no hidden extras. What's in the starter is clear; anything beyond gets quoted per change request so you never hit a surprise invoice.

Is there a deposit?

Yes — 30–50% to kick off, the rest at launch. For longer projects we sometimes split into three milestones. Invoicing follows Dutch VAT rules.

What isn't included in the starter?

Third-party licenses (premium booking systems, etc.), stock photography beyond a basic pack, large-scale copywriting, and campaigns after launch. All transparent in the quote.

Who writes the copy?

We write the SEO baseline. For personal sections (team, about, vision) we ask for short brief docs or interviews and then write in your voice.

Question 6

Shopify or Lightspeed — which is better?

Accepted Answer

For most Dutch brands Lightspeed is familiar and Dutch-language. Shopify wins for international ambitions and the app ecosystem. We advise during intake.

Can we start with a smaller budget and expand later?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we build the foundation right so expanding (multi-language, more products, subscriptions) doesn't require a new site.

How do you handle multi-currency / multi-country?

Shopify's native markets feature for most stores; Lightspeed's country setup for Europe-focused brands. We configure both during scope.

Can we migrate from WooCommerce or another platform?

Accepted Answer

Yes — product, order and customer migrations are part of our scope. We run a staging environment first so nothing breaks live.

Do you set up email flows (abandoned cart, welcome)?

Basic flows via Klaviyo or your existing ESP are standard. Advanced segmentation we scope separately as a marketing sprint.

Can we integrate with our accounting (Moneybird, Exact)?

Yes — we connect orders, invoices and refunds. Moneybird and Exact are common; for others we build connectors.

How fast does checkout load?

Sub-second on good 4G. We measure against real stores and tune until it hits target.

7–10 working days for standard setup. Migrations, multi-language or deep ERP integrations add 1–2 weeks.

Yes — every site comes with a free 30-day shake-out for bugs and small tweaks. After that you can pick a light monthly retainer or work per-incident.

Can my team update copy and photos themselves?

Absolutely. We set up a light editor tuned for your niche (menu, pricing, team, blog). Short training at launch so everything runs without us.

Who owns the site and code?

Accepted Answer

You do. At final payment you get a perpetual licence; source lives in a GitHub repo we can hand over on request. Hosting and domains you can migrate at any time.

Can you help with SEO and ads after launch?

Yes — monthly optimisation (content, technical, conversion) or ad-hoc help with Google / Meta Ads. Often as a monthly contract with shared goals.

Is my site GDPR-compliant?

By default: cookie banner, EU hosting, TLS and a signed data processing agreement. For healthcare, finance and legal we add extra controls.
